2) Categories of Data We Process
- Audio (Microphone): transient audio captured from your device microphone for real-time voice interpretation.
- Text derived from your voice: text versions of what you say, created to provide the service features you request.
- Interpreted text: text produced to convey the meaning of your voice content in another language.
- Payment tokens: transaction or purchase tokens provided by the app store for validating purchases and subscriptions.
- User account information: optional email address and basic account metadata for sign-in, support, or purchase restoration.
- Diagnostics (minimal): crash logs and performance metrics (if enabled by the OS). These do not include raw audio.
3) Purpose of Processing
Microphone audio is used solely to provide live interpretation. Audio is streamed for processing and is not stored on our servers.
We create and store text versions of your voice content and the interpreted text to deliver requested features (e.g., history, corrections) and provide a better experience.
Payment tokens are used to verify purchases. Email may be used for account access, support, and important service notifications.
4) Third-Party Processing and Sharing

Voice processing provider: We route audio through a secure proxy to a real-time voice processing provider to deliver the service functionality.
Provider: Deepgram, Inc. (United States).
Roles:- Service delivery: Acts as our service provider to transcribe/process audio in real time.
- Model improvement: We do not offer a per-user or per-request opt-out. For some requests, the provider may use portions of audio or derived text to improve its models under its own policies and safeguards. In relation to such improvement uses, the provider may act as an independent controller. We do not control the provider’s independent processing.
- Infrastructure and hosting: Trusted providers host our services and store your text data as necessary to operate the product.
- Payments: App store billing (e.g., Google Play) provides purchase tokens. We do not receive full payment card details.
- Analytics: We do not include advertising SDKs. If analytics or advertising SDKs are added in the future, we will update this policy and disclose categories, purposes, and data sharing.
Important: Because our provider may use data for its own model improvement, routing audio to the provider can constitute “sharing” under certain app store disclosures. See the “Play Store Disclosure (Summary)” below.
5) Retention and Deletion
- Audio: not stored on our servers; processed only in real time and discarded after processing.
- Text derived from your voice & interpreted text: stored to provide the service and features you request (e.g., history). You can delete this data at any time in the product (where available) or by emailing support; once you delete it, we promptly remove it from active systems. Some backups and logs may persist for a limited period and are automatically purged on schedule.
- Payment records: purchase tokens and receipts are retained as required for accounting, fraud prevention, and store policies.
- Account email: retained until you request deletion or your account becomes inactive for a period required by law or legitimate interests (e.g., fraud prevention).
- Provider retention: Our voice processing provider’s independent retention for model improvement (where applicable) is governed by the provider’s own policies; we do not control that retention.
- Deletion requests: We verify your identity and aim to fulfill requests within 30 days (or the timeframe required by law).
6) Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. You may exercise these rights by contacting support@dasihagi.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling requests.
Region-specific information
- EU/UK: You have rights under GDPR/UK GDPR. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
- California: Subject to the CPRA, you may have rights to know, delete, correct, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not sell personal information. If our practices change to include “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, we will provide a means to opt out as required by law.
7) Security Measures
- Encryption in transit (TLS) for audio and data streams.
- Encryption at rest for stored text data where supported by our providers.
- Principle of least privilege for service accounts and internal tools; access logging and periodic reviews.
- No server-side storage of raw microphone audio.
- Safeguards including network segmentation, vulnerability management, and incident response procedures.
8) Legal Basis
We process data to provide the service you request (performance of a contract) and with your consent (e.g., microphone access). Where required, we rely on legitimate interests to maintain and improve the service while respecting your rights.
9) Children’s Privacy
Earlash is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the age defined by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us to request deletion.
10) International Transfers
Data may be processed in locations outside your country (including the United States). Where applicable, we implement appropriate safeguards—such as standard contractual clauses and supplier due diligence—to protect your data.
11) Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post changes on this page and, if changes are material, provide in-app or email notice. Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.

Play Store Disclosure (Summary)
- Microphone: used solely for live interpretation; audio is not stored on our servers.
- Text content: text versions of user voice content and interpreted text are stored on our servers to provide the service and can be deleted by the user at any time.
- Payment tokens: used to validate purchases via the app store; no card data handled by us.
- User account (email): used for sign-in, support, and purchase restoration.
- Audio sharing: audio is transmitted to a voice processing provider (Deepgram) to deliver functionality; the provider may use portions of audio or derived text to improve its models under its own policies. No in-app opt-out is provided.
- Data safety mapping (Microphone):
- Collected: Yes (data is transmitted off device).
- Shared: Yes (with a third party that may use data for its own purposes).
- Ephemeral processing: No (the provider may retain data beyond the request to improve models).
- Purpose: App functionality (voice interpretation).
- Retention: audio not stored by us; text content retained until user deletion; other records kept only as necessary for service and legal compliance. Provider retention for model improvement is governed by the provider’s policies.
- User rights: access, correction, deletion on request via support email (and in-app controls where available).
